The children's author David Walliams lost his contract with publishing house.
Best-selling writer for children and entertainer David Walliams has parted ways with his UK book publisher, as confirmed by the firm.
A spokesman for the publisher said: "Upon deliberation, and following the appointment of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish future works by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the move was taken subsequent to an investigation into reports of questionable actions directed at young women.
The firm did not confirm the specific rationale behind the move, stating: "We do not comment on confidential company decisions."
